How YOU can make a difference!
Volunteer: Be a mentor, coordinate bowling, sports or other activities. develop and teach various classes (resume, math, personal budgeting, computer basics) and/or provide assistive services like Tax Preparation.
Volunteer at other sites: Present a construction trades class or join the worship team at the Denver Jail, Assist with alumni events: Picnic or Holiday Party.
Give, and/or Give an Opportunity: Donate a good condition used bicycles, backpacks, Christmas gifts, etc. Hire Turnabout graduates. Provide General Financial Support.
Government grants allow Turnabout to provide intensive program services to about 400 individuals per year. However, we provide services to roughly 5600 people annually who are not eligible for intensive funding. Your small or large donation is not only tax deductible, but it does so much to help us reverse the cycle of poverty and crime in our Metro Denver neighborhoods.
You can make a small or large donation online today. $25 will allow us to buy a pair of workboots for someone who would not otherwise be able to accept a job. $75 will cover most of the costs of offering a work skills training. $200 will allow us to add another computer to our drop-in computer center. Please give to help Turnabout make a huge difference.
Activities Volunteer

Turnabout holds several family-oriented events throughout the year, including a summer picnic, spring talent show, a winter holiday party, etc. Volunteers can participate at these events to help set up, organize and clean up after.

Computer Center Volunteer

Turnabout's computer lab is open Monday - Thursday, 9am - 5pm. Volunteers help participants with simple questions about e-mail, job applications and resume updates.

Teaching Volunteer

Depending on your area of interest, Turnabout can assist you to present a class or series of classes for participants ranging from computer basics, budgeting, or basic reading and math. The subject matter and curricula for classes is flexible and open to ideas. Contact us for more information or to suggest a topic!

Assist participants to complete tax preparation, financial aid applications or provide consultation around legal aid, career choice or entry-level resume preparation. Let us know your area of expertise and your professional credentials to provide the type of service you propose.
