10 hours; over two daysOSHA - 10 is a safety course for workers in the construction field including renewable energy and energy efficiency. It includes a combination of audio-visuals, lecture, and hands-on, which allows for different types of learning styles.

Highway Flagging
2 to 3 hours; Offered twice monthly-
This course includes review and preparation for the Highway Flagging Proficiency Examination, and provides Flagger Certification upon achieveing a score of 80% or better on the exam. All aspects of CDOT regulations and requirements for flaggers are covered - including uniform, personal protective equipment (PPE), equipment set up, and safety.

Forklift Basics
4 to 5 hours; Offered at warehouse site -
EDDCO Industrial Training program begins with equipment safety. Participants are then trained on a sitting, counter-balance forklift. Participants also learn use and operation of the electric pallet jack. Upon completion, participants have skills needed for entry-level warehouse jobs requiring forklift certification or experience.

Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) - Renovation, Repair and Painting (RRP) Rule

This certificate course will train participants in specific work practices to prevent lead contamination. Under the EPA rule, beginning April 22, 2010, contractors performing renovation, repair and painting projects that disturb lead-based paint in homes, child care facilities and schools built before 1978 must be trained and certified.
